Campaign to throw away the existing tax code in its entirety. Replace it with a simple percentage to be paid by all

All of the arguments over the one percent will end if everyone in this country with an income pays exactly the same percentage tax. A fourth grader could figure what you owe. Deductions no longer exist. No one gets any advantage. A walmart cashier pays 15% of his income. A wall street exec also pays 15%. If the budget isn't covered by the 15% then raise the rate. If the amount collected is more than adequate, then lower the rate but do it for everyone and keep it the same for everyone. The reason for investments is to make money. Investors will still want to make investments only they have to pat the tax on profits.
