There is no argument over the choice between health and education, but there is only one way we can guarantee the health of St. Mary's men, cancel classes.
The health of young men should not be left to chance or luck. Wind chill readings of 15 to 25 degree below zero are expected, and exposure to such temperatures will cause frostbite in as little as 10 minutes; prolonged exposure to these temperatures may also lead to hypothermia or death.
St. Mary's students' health is at risk, and this is the specter our well-meaning administration refuse to face that their policy of anti-snowday is unamerican.
By canceling classes for Wednesday, January 29th 2014, the adversaries of snow days will understand that health is the highest aspiration of the American People.
