We the people of the United States vote to elect officials into these positions and expect that these individuals will go to Washington DC to do a job. In the last four years there has been no balanced budget, with spending going through the roof. There is to much arguing between parties instead of doing the jobs to protect the economy of the United States.
The President actually putting forth an executive order to give these individuals a raise shows a lack of leadership.
If we the American people do not do our jobs in as little as a few weeks we would get fired, not a raise.
