cancel his D-Day visit-it's making the occasion a hard for vets, families & genuine military supporters & its historians

This event will be well attended by veterans of many nations, their families, and the larger community of WWII history buffs, military and veteran’s supporters. These venues were expected to be a crush before this visit was announced, accommodations difficult to secure. It appears that because of security concerns many of the public will be barred from services they have been attending for years. Plans have been made nearly a year in advance; to be unable to approach the events will be devastating. Rather than risk criticism by our allies who will be impacted by this visit, a more appropriate visit might be to join the US veterans, their families at services at the D-Day Museum in New Orleans or the National D-Day Memorial in Bedford, Virginia.They'd love to see the President.
