John King has been a controversial and adversarial Secretary of Education in NYS who has created an atmosphere of frustration and anger among students, parents and teachers who are invested in the future of education. Now he has been nominated by President Obama as the national Secretary of Education. Please support this petition to let President Obama know that you do NOT support his nomination or the anti-teacher, tone deaf programs he supports. His unwillingness to listen to parents, teacher and other stakeholders in NY should be a red flag about how he will run the national Dept. of Education.
