The Obamas' trip later this month to Africa could cost taxpayers about $100 million because of massive presidential vacation resources -- hundreds of Secret Service agents, 14 bulletproof limos, and much, much more. While President Clinton took a similar vacation during his years in office and President George W. Bush did it twice. this practice needs to stop. The government continues to ask federal employees and the public to make sacrifices for the good of the nation, however that sacrifice does not extend to our elected officials and not to the President and his family. People coming to Washington, DC., cannot tour the White House due to sequestration and thousands of federal employees are being furloughed. Enough already! Cancel this trip - use the $$$$ to end furloughs.
