This petition, if passed, is meant to save the internet. SOPA/PIPA is an act that will cripple almost all sites on the web for using copyrighted material. Reddit, 4chan, Google, Wikipedia, Urban Dictionary, Facebook, Yahoo, Tumblr, Twitter, YouTube; anything that has material created by someone else and published without permission. This means we the people will no longer have access to the sites that connect us and allow us to share ideas. Yes, this will help some huge corporations who are losing an infinitesimal amount of profits to piracy, but IT WILL DO MORE HARM TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE. Sign the petition, stop SOPA/PIPA, and keep the American internet just how it is. This isn't North Korea, people!
