The speed limit on interstate is non-sense. These speed limit are too slow for modern cars. And police officers are just using the speed limit as a way to gain money for the police department. I strongly suggest we do the exactly as the German do. Cancel the speed limit on some part of the Interstate, with good road and light traffic. The traffic jam will be better with a higher through rate. The government should reinforce the road test. Makes the new drive really learn how to drive properly. In this case, the accident rate will be much much less without a speed limit and a proper road test. Germany Autobahn is the best example. The accident rate over there is much much lower than its in U.S.
