In lieu of the tumultuous climate across the country I present this petition to my fellow citizens and the administration of Barack Obama, President of the United States of America, to request they examine the expedience of the legalization of cannabis and substances like mescaline and psilocybin through licensed dispensaries within the tri state area. Run by individuals who have no criminal record, who have a degree in toxicology and/ or organic chemistry, or a licensed medical doctor. The reason being that this action offers a solution or an attempt at resolution to the problems of healthcare and employment in addition to encouraging an environment of openness and responsibility with respect topsychotropic substances statistically shown to be safe for adults ages 25 and up.
