During World War II, President Roosevelt in an effort to edge against inflation during war time, he issued Price Controls through the Office of Price Administration on a large portion of goods, products and services in the country. Of course this was in time of war, but with prices on college education rising to astronomical levels as well as student loan debt this in itself is should be considered a crisis deserving attention as such.
I, petition the White House and Obama Administration to initiate a conversation with Congress and the American people to pass legislation to cap prices on tuition, fees, etc. on every university, college, community college, private college, for-profit college and so-on who receives any form of federal funds or federal backed loans for a total of five years
