Cap the Congressional pay checks to 20% lower than the present pay of the highest paid Congress person.

Created by D.B. on September 24, 2013

By limiting the maximum pay of each member of Congress to 20% lower than the current highest paid member, the Federal government can apply this savings to the budget and allow for continued operation of the Federal government. If this reduction in pay does not help in lowering the People's deficit then there this reduction should be lowered by 5% until a reasonable budget can be made. The funds saved in this reduction shall not be applied to any existing programs. This additional funding is to be applied to our current deficit. This in turn should help to reach a more balanced budget.
