Cap Congressional salaries, and ban Congress from raising there own Salary.

The very fact that this is even an issue is ridicules! I believe congressional salaries should be caped at a level equal to the current average American salary. Further more the only way to allow a raise is by appealing to the people who they are supposed to be working for. (I.e. salary raises can only be issued by consent of the people in the form of a popular vote, listed on a ballet in clear and plain English so that each and every American can understand its language.) Let’s see what congress gets done when congress men are forced to align there interests with those of the nation
