Remember back when Gas Prices were $1.80 a gallon?Remember the Hurricane that "caused" gas prces to skyrocket and never return? Gas Companies are draining the economy! Do the math from the Time the Gas prices spiked over $2.00 a gallon, and look at how it has had a great draining effect on our economy. Lower it back to $2.00 a gallon and do the math on the average family per month times the cars on the road. I am no accountant, but I see a great deal of money that Americans could spend again, companies could save on shipping, and American's can have some extra to buy the products and feed it to the Economy, not the Gas Companies hourly gains that they brag about.
