cap the pay of any federal official or employee at three times the median American personal income, plus benefits.

Created by D.C. on January 07, 2013

This proposal is to tie the income of our elected officials and public servants to the median income of American citizens. If we earn more, they earn more. If we earn less, they earn less. In the name of practicality, benefits and miscellaneous allowances (such as those for employing Congressional staffers and travel expenses for elected representatives) would be independent of this cap.
