Cap the price of all goods and services at a reasonable level to everyone can afford the things they want and need.

Created by C.J. on March 21, 2014

Instead of raising the minimum wage or establishing a living wage I think we should cap the cost of everything in the economy. That way everyone could afford to pay for the things they want and need. My proposal would be as follows:
All forms of labor - $30,000/year
Vegetables - $0.10
Fruit - $0.10
Bread (loaf) - $0.25
Meat (lb) - $1.00
Clothing:
Shirts - $2
Pants - $2.50
Dresses - $2.00
Houses - $10,000
Cars - $1,000
Trucks - $1,500
TV - $20
Etc, etc, etc...

These caps and prices could be set by a panel of the best economists and financial people working in conjunction with industry experts.

I think we can all support some common sense caps so that everyone, everywhere can experience the American Dream.
