my petition is that we use fisher/ troph,to convert coal into oil,and natural gas,and further refine the oil into the alcane series chains such as octane (gasoline).Though not a perfect solution to the green house gas problem,it greatly reduces the amount of green house gases being released into the atmosphere.
I would further suggest that plastic bottles,disposable plastic bags,old tires,and the like can be placed in a retort,at a tempriture of 451 degrees and distilled to produce all the same fractions as the fisher/troph process. this would be a first step tward domestic energy independance,and greatly reduce the green house out put of coal,and .greatly reduce the amount of plastic bottles,plastic bags,and spare tires in our land fills.
then we could move on to bio-fuels.
