Cardell Robinson is a 30 year old young black father who was raising a family of seven sons under the age of 12 years old who was given a life sentence at the Angola Penitentiary prison in Angola, Louisiana. For this non-violent marijuana offense, Cardell was sentenced to die in prison because of the "habitual offender" law giving mandatory sentencing in the State of Louisiana. He was found guilty for the possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute under an ounce of bagged marijuana. It is to believe that he was not given his 6th amendment right. His argument is "ineffective counseling" and false information given in the report made by East Baton Rouge Parish Police officers where he was wrongfully convicted and found guilty in his prosecution on April 26, 2013.
