We, the people, of the Cascadian bioregion declare our intention to separate from the United States of America and establish an independent republic.
1. Federal laws affecting our bioregion are at the mercy of people who have never lived in or even been to Cascadia. Thus, proper representation of our interests are unobserved.
2. The natural resources of our Cascadian lands have been routinely plundered in the name of profits.
3. The native tribes of our bioregion were obliged to give up their lands or expect to suffer the genocidal rage of the invaders. We, the people of Cascadia, wish to address this issue with no impediments.
We eagerly await our deliverance from the abuses of the power hungry elite of the United States and Canada.
