Cases at the USCAVC which are remanded back to the VA get stuck in the system for years, with no action.

Now attorneys flock to the USCAVC to represent veteran's claims. Once an attorney prevails in having the case remanded back to the VA they are compensated normally via EAJA. I have been waiting more than a year for an earlier effective date for a non-service connected pension which was granted. VA staff informs me they will never pay this claim. The attorney of record says they have been compenstaed and the matter is closed. The court will not answer. My P.O.A., DAV says to plead with the attorney to see if they will reconsider. The laws must change as this method is corrupt. As long as EAJA pays the attorney's the VA has no incentive to move. The whole process is funded through congress which is the left hand monitoring the right hand. Let's change this process, now.
