We the people of the United States of America hereby call upon our representatives elect to condemn the use and spread of the hateful and discriminating term "Cis" as in "Cisgender" referring to persons of the heterosexual orientation. We believe that the continued use of this term is creating a social paradigm in which the minority sexual orientations create social stigma against the majority of heterosexual individuals, a label presupposing negative intolerant traits. This is the beginning of a new era of radical intolerance, an era that is negatively labeling persons and furthering social division.
We the people urge our representatives elect to evaluate this word and its misguided origins to categorizes "Cis" and any derivatives as hate speech.
