Every one has a right to own and use a vehicle for private use, and same pertains to guns. We should make all gun owners accountable and liable for any harm or damage done as a result of their registered gun.
We must insure and register our vehicles, and must be licensed and qualified to safely use our vehicle. We must maintain vehicles to be safe in public. We must renew our drivers licenses and vehicle registrations annually, and renew the insurance. The SAME should be required by law of every existing gun and it's owner, and all new guns and owners.
Also, gun owners should be required to undergo surprise inspections of their guns to be secured and locked. If they fail, they should lose their guns and license.
