Roger Shuler has been a blogger under the name of the Legal Schnauzer for approximately 5 years. He has in the past few years reported on the alleged affairs of Rob Riley, son of former governor Bob Riley, and Luther Strange, current Attorney General of Alabama. Rob Riley filed suit against Roger to force him to remove the blogs. Roger refused and was beaten and arrested without a signed warrant in his own garage. He and his wife do not have the money for an attorney. The records of the case were sealed by the hand picked judge. Roger was jailed in October 2013 and remains there. His civil rights have been violated in too many ways to list here. No blogger in this country should be in jail for writing about dirty politics in their home state, especially in Alabama.
