We the people ask the federal government to Change an existing Administration policy:

CDC Opioid guideline revision

Created by H.T. on May 03, 2016

We are petitioning the President, Congress, FDA, and CDC to relax the opioid guidelines that were recently released. Chronic pain patients are suffering due to doctors and pain clinics refusing them opioids because they fear getting fined or losing their licenses. There are no alternate therapies as of now that are very effective in treating their pain or if there are, insurance companies will not cover the costs. Please stop this attack on legitimate chronic pain patients! 95% to 99% of patients don't abuse or sell their drugs and should not be punished because of addicts illegally obtaining them. Drug dealers are substituting street fentanyl for heroin so when people OD their toxicology reports come back saying it was death by prescription drug when in fact it wasn't. Stop the cruelty!!
