Cease aligning US with Japan foreign policy until it is able to correctly portray its admitted war crimes in schools

Created by K.L. on August 24, 2012

Peace loving, disciplined etc were characters used predominantly in modern day description of the Japanese people. While modern day Japan may seem worthy of US alliance, its war crimes committed against its Asian neighbors were never truly apologized for -- it is even more alarming that right-wing Japanese teachings were still being used in teaching materials in Japan, war crime history constantly being erased bit by bit. It seem strange that Nazi's were so despised and at the same time Japanese war crimes were largely ignored, some even deem Kamikaze as heroic acts these days. US should act in an effort to at least make its ally these days, to right the wrongs they made before stepping foot into Asian politics and to win hearts of Asians -- regardless of their political sides.
