Cease all diplomatic ties and impose sanctions on the Government of Japan, which conducts illegal whaling in contravention of the moratorium of the International Whaling Commission, which they totally disregard; the ban on factory ship whaling, which they use; and the Southern Ocean Sanctuary; which they abuse. The sanctions shall continue until their illegal whaling ceases. Millions of tsunami funds have been used to further this illegal practice instead of using funds for their people. Whaling is not a part of the Japanese culture, heritage or scientific in nature and should not be looked upon as such.
