Armed militants have illegally occupied the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge, refused the lawful orders of local law enforcement officials to vacate the premises and threatened the lives of anyone who might seek to enforce the law. In doing so, these men are likely guilty of trespassing on federal property, theft and destruction of federal property, and illegal possession of firearms and dangerous weapons in federal facilities; in addition to possible charges of domestic terrorism.
As law-abiding, tax-paying citizens of this country, we demand that these men be denied service of electricity, water, postal delivery and the use of the public airwaves; all of which are subsidized by public tax dollars. We will not aid and abet criminal activity and neither should our government.
