The biggest weakness in American is that it is a divided country. Divided by many different groups of people claiming to be something other than "American".
A hyphenated-American is a person that puts the place that their ancestors come from ahead of the place that they call home. By claiming to be a German-American, Asian-American, Irish-American, Christian-American, Muslim-American, African-American, Mexican-American, or any other type of "blank"-American, special interest groups are creating that unite those within these groups and exclude others.
This country claims equality but shows certain groups favor while punishing others.
Special interest groups based on race, religion, or life choice should be banned and replaced with groups that aid all and promote equality.
