We the people petitions the Obama Administration to cease all legislation and any other efforts to ban any firearm on the grounds that it is unconstitutional. Amendment II states the following: A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
Militia is defined as a military force of civilians to supplement a regular army in an emergency. In the event that such a militia would be required, the people would be ill-equipped to defend themselves without the arms that are to be banned. (assault rifles, large capacity magazines, etc.)
Infringe: Act so as to limit or undermine (something); encroach on.
The proposed new laws are unconstitutional, therefore legislation concerning them must end.
