It is unfathomable that as Americans are losing their jobs or unable to find work our elected officials continue to get paid while being unable or unwilling to perform their elected duties. Until a budget is passed and we can continue to recover this country's economy and middle class, politicians in the House of Representatives and the Senate should not be benefiting from tax payer money.
Unless they can come up with and pass a budget they should cease to receive a paycheck. This petition is to have President Obama and the White House address to the American people why we should allow them to continue to get paid while they pass salary increases yet are unable to or refuse to pass a budget that will help the United States of America and its people continue to rebuild this nation.
