This petition is a call to action to the Obama administration to quit their end zone posturing and to fully eliminate the pretense that a web page on the White House site that allows "we the people" to design and create meaningless, tongue-in-cheek and generally inane petitions actually does anything to either "increase transparency" in federal government or to in any way redress any of our pathetic, plebeian desires to really participate in a government that is governed of the few, by the few, and for the few. To wit: this petition page is wholly and unapologetically patronizing and offensive to any part of me that still believes in the greatness of America. Please, stop taking petitions online. It breaks my heart.
