The US government is perpetually moving towards an Orwellian society that has been envisioned in the book "1984."
Between recent revelations that the FBI has found a back door through anonymous internet users' JavaScript applications to essentially hack their way in, the NSA providing the DEA access to metadata, and the proliferation of drones across our homeland, we need to ask ourselves, "When will it end?"
We call on Obama to push for surveillance reform. Obama himself was once a proponent of a free and open society, but even the campaign website for Obama regarding his stance has now gone cold.
