The signers of the aforementioned petition are seeking to deny the federation and state the collection, use, and storage of data of peoples not seen as a threat to national or local security without reasonable justification and probable cause. We, the undersigned, understand and support the wellbeing of our homeland, but not for the diminished personal security of the individual. The use of such invasive infringement on our individuality is a cost greater than what it is worth. We desire, nay, demand that the Obama administration let United States citizens live their lives behind a curtain or openly publicized as they see fit.
