In light of recent revelations, and with concern for our own security and longterm interests, we the people oppose US involvement in Syria.
It has come to our knowledge that the CIA began training Syrian rebels in Turkey and Jordan to use large weapons long before our official involvement in the Syrian conflict. Also, many questions surround the validity and transparency of the alleged use of chemical weapons in Syria. The President's pronouncement of a "Red Line" on these weapons created a clear incentive for many factions in Syria to create the appearance of the use of these weapons to draw us into the conflict.
The American people are still paying the heavy cost of our last illegitimate war based on lies and CIA manipulations. We cannot afford to make this same mistake again.
