Cease Congressional pay if and when there is a Government shutdown for the entire shutdown period.

Created by P.R. on September 30, 2013

The Congress of the United States of America are elected representatives and as such should be affected to the same degree as those they represent.

A shutdown will place many Americans at a disadvantage due to furlough and/or sequester without pay simply because those elected representatives failed to do their jobs in a timely manner.

We ask that Congressional pay be halted at the moment any shutdown occurs through their own inability to complete their elected duties and be suspended for the entire period of any shutdown.
