Cease dead line to stop sales for so called Assault weapons and High capacity magazines. Weapons sold are Semi-Automatic

Obama believes banning so called Assault weapons (semi-auto) will stop mass shootings. Banning these weapons infringes on 2nd Amendment rights afforded to all by the Constitution of the United States. Assault weapons have a selective fire switch; this switch allows the shooter to select single, 3 shot or fully automatic. I propose this law be effective on the date The United Sates banns sales of so called Assault weapons and high capacity magazines. All armored vehicles will be parked indefinitely. The Secret Service, FBI and Police will use Flint lock firing weapons to protect elected officials, including the President. Transportation will be horse drawn buggy. No bullet proof glass/armor shall be installed. No need for high profile security due to the ban on so called Assault weapons.
