Government officials don't collect social security because they have their own separate retirement plan. If you want social security fixed then have government officials pay into and collect social security as their future retirement. Have them get rid of their retirement plan which I believe is their three highest grossing years in office, averaged out. Whats good for the goose is good for the gander.
