Cease granting of federal aid to students seeking useless degrees.

Created by S.C. on November 14, 2012

We petition the Obama administration to refuse granting Federal Student Aid from tax payer money to students seeking a degree that has a national average of 32% or higher unemployment rate for newly graduated students. And grant higher aid for students seeking jobs with lower new graduate unemployment percentages. This will encourage students to take courses paid for by tax-payers more responsibly and create a higher incentive to seek degrees that improve our national image. The Federal Budget for Tax Payer money and student support is already over taxed enough by students seeking continuous education and degrees in fields with an excess of 40% unemployment on graduation knowing full well they will never get a career in that field, in essence wasting tax payer money better used elsewhere.
