Every american citizen deserves their day in court. However their has been a recent memo written by administration officials that proclaims to have legal justification for the killing of american citizens, if they have ties to the terrorist organization Al Qaeda. I believe that even though these individuals have betrayed their own nation and even though they may indeed be plotting action against this nation, we as a country should allow them their day in court. For this country is supposed to be a country of equality, liberty, and justice and the actions taken by this administration in this topic are hardly representative of these noble ideals.
