Cease push for & refuse to sign gun control legislation until a bill is passed that creates jobs for the unemployed.

Created by C.B. on January 28, 2013

At least 146 million Americans are considered low income or impoverished. This number is significantly higher than the number of people affected by gun violence. Unemployment and poverty are the biggest threats to Americans today. This is a petition calling for an end to legislative action on gun control until legislation is passed that creates jobs for the unemployed. A majority of the gun violence in cities across America would cease if Americans had more jobs and better wages. Poverty is a fertile breeding ground for violence, despair and substance abuse. Let us encourage our legislators to attack poverty and unemployment instead of our right to bear arms.
