Brothers and Sisters,
For some time now President Barack Obama has seen fit to sanction Russia for its involvement with Ukraine's Euromaidan protests (thus sending Russia to domestic and Chinese products, helping it). The tensions between Russia and Ukraine date back to the 1654 Treaty of Pereyaslav, in which Bohdan Khmelnytsky gave Russia domination over Ukraine. Now, since the shooting down of a civilian aircraft America has increased the sanctions despite the fact it was ethnic Russian rebels and not Russia who did it. If an Italian-American shoots a plane down, should we sanction Italy? America has begun to believe it can rule the world, using Ukraine as a puppet to fight "the bogeyman" Russia.
America and Obama should stop trying to destroy other countries and try and fix our own.
