Cease space exploration program and focus funds on other immediate needs in the United States, i.e. National deficit.

Funds for the space exploration project could be re-directed to address a more pressing and immediate matter such as decreasing the National debt in the United States. By positioning ourselves in a more sound and economically state, we improve the lives of our people and our Nation. As each day passes America grows more in debt and could eventually raise taxes to the point at which people will spend less money on business. Businesses will suffer, jobs will be lost, corporations will close. Basically it is a no win situation. Using these funds to help pay down National debt would be more reasonable than using them to find other places to live, like the planet Mars.
