I am petitioning the Obama administration to end all federal subsides for corn.The federal government is indirectly subsidizing soda and red meat by subsidizing corn. We are not entitled to cheap soda and beef. If a person wants to drink a two liter of soda every day, that's their prerogative but my tax dollars should not be paying for it. We are promoting obesity and encouraging the consumption of unhealthy foods. We could save billions directly and indirectly by ceasing federal corn subsidies.
