Cease trying to raise the minimum wage nationwide.

Raising minimum wage will not help the economy. Anyone making more than minimum wage will be affected by this, as will those making minimum wage. By raising the minimum wage, companies will raise their prices to offset the cost of employment. So in reality, those getting a pay increase will not see it overall. Those of us that make more than minimum wage will lose wages in the long run by paying more for goods and services. If you want to make more money, put in the time and effort and stop relying on the government and the rest of us who chose to make a better life for ourselves. Allow companies to decide if they can afford a pay raise for employees. If the government wishes to raise pay for its employees, so be it. But you have done enough to bankrupt the rest of the country.
