Cease the TSA's requirement for shoe removal at airport security checkpoints (unless the shoes have metal in them).

Shoe removal at airport security is pointless and should be done away with. Firstly, it's unhygienic. People putting their dirty shoes in the same bins we put our laptops and other personal items is simply not good for our health. Not to mention the unsanitary floors we must step on where everyone else of varying personal hygiene levels steps on as well. Second, it's time consuming and creates more traffic and longer waits in line. It's not efficient. Thirdly, the newer body scanners should be able to detect anything threatening or dangerous on our person, especially if the footwear is light. Almost every other country does not require shoe removal at airports. It's been almost 7 years since the shoe bomber. Let's stop this unnecessary procedure and make everyone's life easier.
