Cease the use of "ceremonial deism" by the U.S. government.

Phrases such as "In God We Trust" on U.S. currency and "Under God" in The Pledge of Allegiance are outdated and unnecessary. They have been said to have lost all religious meaning through repetition, but this simply is not the case. In our day and age, cultures are beginning to integrate with one another, and many groups and individuals who do not practice deistic beliefs are given the immediate impression that the U.S. as a country favors deists over non-deists. The U.S. Constitution was constructed in an agnostic fashion in order encourage people of ALL belief systems to feel accepted and treated fairly in the U.S. This ideal has not been upheld in the past, but we ask that it is supported in the future, if for no other reason, in order to keep the image of the U.S. a positive one.
