The brutal slaying of Cecil the lion by America's Walter Palmer has been condemned internationally. Cecil was a protected animal and arguably the most popular lion at Hwange National Park. Cecil's untimely death has also compromised Zimbabwe's tourism sector ad a research program that was being done on the lion by Oxford University. Already Zimbabwe's various economics sectors are suffering at the hand of America's draconian sanctions on the country. In light of the above, it is called upon that all the sanctions imposed on Zimbabwe by America, in the form of Zdera and all Executive Orders, be nullified as a gesture of "chema" (condolence token) by the US.
