The cities of Buffalo, NY and Detroit, MI are crumbling blackholes of failure that happen to have professional hockey teams. As a way to rid the United States of having to deal with these urban disasters, and their hygienically challenged citizens, we propose gifting these cities to Canada. Not only will this help the United States, but it will provide Canada with two more NHL franchises that all good Americans hate- the Buffalo Sabres and Detroit Red Wings, an issue with almost sparked the US-Canadian War of 2011.
To protect the integrity of the United States and improve US-Canadian relations, we urge the White House to take swift action!
