For Cellular Phone companies to provide technology to disable text messaging and email while driving

Created by F.P. on May 23, 2015

Force all cell phone companies to provide technology to prevent a user to send or receive text or email messages when is operating a motorize vehicle and do not allow the user to disable this functionality.

Facts: The National Safety Council reports that cell phone use while driving leads to 1.6 million crashes each year. Nearly 330,000 injuries occur each year from accidents caused by texting while driving. 1 out of every 4 car accidents in the United States is caused by texting and driving. Texting while driving is 6x more likely to cause an accident than driving drunk.

I was hit last year in a stop light on my motorcycle by a lady that was texting. It is time we take action!
