The CFTC shall provide an investigation and into the recent decline of precious metals despite no physical inventory.

Created by D.M. on June 26, 2013

The prices for gold and silver have dropped dramatically but there is no physical metal to be found. Inventories are at record lows which indicate a disconnect between supply and demand and possible price fixing. Prices continue to decline despite no physical inventory and consumers cannot purchase metals at these prices even if they wanted to. The CFTC must investigate the root cause of the price decline and communicate to the American public how prices can continue to decline despite no physical inventory. The behavior prices with regard to precious metals violates the basics of economics and requires an investigation.
