Legislators should see the consequences of their governance first hand. Debt cutting is not encouraging employment, tax cutting is irrelevant if there is no income to tax. Congress needs to see the faces of the poor, learn the details of illness and witness the cost of both. Americans need governmental awareness not tag lines and talking points. Our conservative "friends" asked during the election "where are the jobs, Mr. President". I now ask Congress "where are the jobs, Mr. Speaker?" The House controls spending, yet they are loathe to spend on the very people they "work" for. We spoke and a majority of our elected House members and the Senate minority have become deaf to a clear majority of The American People.
Witness the frugal and biased legislation that has created the 99%.
